You said you needed to do some research to determine whether or not waterboarding is unlawful. I can understand that. Though waterboarding is personally “repugnant” to you, you’re just not ready to conclude that it’s illegal. You’re a cautious, prudent guy. You have to look at the facts and you don’t want to expose the administration to nasty lawsuits.
